Our impact

See the difference your giving makes

A report is published when work has been carried out and the spending has been accounted for — not when the money is collected. That is a slower page than most, and a truer one.

Published reports

Nothing has reached the reporting stage yet

A cause has to be funded, the work carried out, and the spending accounted for before anything appears here. None has reached that point, so this page is empty — and will stay empty until something genuinely belongs on it.

See the ways to give

How a payment gets reported

  1. A cause is approved for the giving it may receive

Before it can accept anything, a cause is checked against the kinds of giving it is allowed to take. Zakat is never offered a cause it may not fund.

  2. Money leaves the fund with two signatures

One person prepares the payment and a different person approves it. The same person cannot do both.

  3. The spending is accounted for

What the money paid for is recorded against the payment, with supporting evidence held on file.

  4. A report is published

Only then does it appear on this page — and only the parts that can be published without identifying anyone who received help.
